Whether it’s due to hours of studying or working overtime at that job you just can’t stand, sometimes we all need a break. And every once in a while, there’s no better way to unwind than throwing on some sweatpants, grabbing a snack or two and plopping on the couch to binge-watch hours of Netflix.

If you’ve finished your favorite show and are searching for what to watch next, look no further.

Here are the top Netflix shows that anyone can enjoy:

Stranger Things:

Even three years later, the world still seems to be obsessed with the horror series that leaves anyone watching on the edge of their seat. The show follows four normal kids in a small rural town in the 1980s as they go through unexpected sci-fi adventures with twists and turns. Though only two seasons are on Netflix now, the third season will return on July 4, 2019.

Gilmore Girls:

This dramedy centers around single mother Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory who live in the storybook town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Filled with quirky characters and amusing storylines in each episode, this seven season show even has a sequel known as “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.”

The Crown:

Said to be the most expensive show Netflix has ever produced, the drama follows the journey of the rise of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip from the 1940s to modern times. The 25-year-old newlywed is faced with leading the world’s most famous monarchy, while navigating romance and political rivals.

The Office:

If you’re tired of seeing all the memes on social media and not knowing what they mean, it’s probably time you start watching “The Office.” The mockumentary is filled with inappropriate work behavior as well as an office romance between characters Jim and Pam. The first season filled with only six episodes may start out slow, but sets the scene for some of the best seasons to come.

Jane The Virgin:

This hilarious show received a “100%” from Rotton Tomatoes, and rightfully so. At just 23-years-old, recently engaged Jane Villanueva, who’s determined to remain a virgin until marriage, has her life flipped upside down after a routine visit to the gynecologist leaves her accidentally artificially inseminated. Now, Jane is left with the terrifying situation of having to decide whether or not to keep the baby, who, oh yeah, is from her bosses.

Friends:

How could you forget this one? It’s almost like you can rewatch the series over and over again without it getting old. The six best friends take on New York City together for 10 seasons, forced to experience all of life’s up and downs, all while living in the same apartment complex. The first episode may leave you a bit confused, as runaway bride Rachel Green finds herself lost and confused in the Big Apple, until she runs into her best friend Monica Geller. From there, the show takes off.

Breaking Bad:

It’s not every day you see a show that revolves around a high school teacher suddenly turning an old RV into a meth lab on wheels. The crime drama made its debut in 2008, when chemistry teacher Walter White realized his family was in deep financial trouble after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Determined to make as much money as quickly as he can, White starts manufacturing and selling meth.
