Beecher Hall Hosts Annual ‘Condom Carnival’

Condoms and candy; that is the theme of Beecher Residence Hall’s annual ‘Condom Carnival.’ Held on Thursday, April 12 at 1 p.m. on Vance Lawn, students participated in several activities that spread awareness on safe-sex, the human body and education on the LGBTQ+ community.

Co-sponsored by IRC, Inter-Residence Council, each residence hall hosted their own booth of activities where if students participated, they could earn a ticket leading up to a free ‘Condom Carnival’ t-shit.

“After students participated in the carnival, we wanted them to understand and learn about what can happen if they aren’t careful when choosing to have sex,” Beecher Hall President Josh Hollm said.

The annual Condom Carnival did its job in reminding students to stay responsible, all the while still having fun.
