  • “Suicide Prevention Tabling” is happening on Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the Student Center from 12 to 2 p.m.
  • Alumni Melvis Douglas Wilson will speak on his book, “Jimmy’s Got a Gun—The Crash Brothers Forever,” which addresses gang and gun violence, on Feb. 27 beginning at 12:15 p.m. in the CCSU Bookstore.
  • Student Wellness’ “End Stigma Event” will take place on Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. in the Student Center’s Clocktower Room.
  • The Women’s Center’s “Happy Hour” is happening on Feb. 27 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Student Center’s Alumni Hall.
  • This week’s “Devils Den @ 10 p.m.” will feature “E-Sports Club Madden Tournament.”
  • Courtesy of the Central Activities Network, students have the opportunity to attend a taping of “The Maury Show” for no cost on Friday, March 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The offer includes free transportation and free pizza.
  • The Africana Students Organization is hosting a fashion show with the purpose of displaying “the current fashion trends in Africa.” The show will take place in Welte Hall on March 1 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • A “Public Planetarium Show” will be held on Saturday, March 2 from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Nicolaus Copernicus Hall building.
  • If you’re interested in science, join Dr. Mallory Smith, a CCSU alum, who will speak on her higher-education experience and what it takes to become a nuclear physicist. Smith will host her talk on Monday, March 4 in NC 20101 starting at 3:30 p.m.
  • The 2019 Student Government Association E-Board Debate, which will feature students running for president, vice president and treasurer, will take place on March 4 at 6 p.m. in the Constitution Room of Memorial Hall.
  • If you’re still struggling with learning to be an adult, head to the Camp Room in the Student Center on March 4 at 6:30 p.m. for “#Adulting – How to Adult.”
  • The “Fix Flux” Art Gallery Exhibition in the Chen Art Gallery will continue to be open to the public until Feb. 28.
