No matter how old you may be, you are never too old to plop down on the couch with a buttery bowl of popcorn and turn on a Disney movie. Whether it be a classic like “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” childhood favorites like “Toy Story,” or newer films like “Frozen,” Disney never fails when it comes to pulling the heart-strings of all ages.

In 2018, fans were given a handful of new Disney films, such as the long-awaited, 14-years-later sequel “Incredibles 2” and sequel to “Wreck it, Ralph,” “Ralph Breaks the Internet.”

However, 2019 already has a record lineup in the works, thanks to Disney’s announcements via Twitter of the following releases.

So whether you are 10, 20, or even in your 50’s, put some money aside for your movie tickets, because below are the most anticipated 2019 Disney movies that will bring out your inner child at heart.

  1. “Dumbo” – March 29

Directed by the film mastermind Tim Burton, this live-action remake of a classic Disney tale will be a sight to see. By viewing the trailer, it seems that this 2019 redo will be a mix of live-shooting and computer editing.

The trailer also does a great job at making the audience fall in love with the image of Dumbo himself, even though he may be animated. With two young human kids as tag-a-longs, played by actors Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins, Dumbo’s story is brought to life. The additional casting of Danny Devito, Colin Farrell and Eva Green help touch on the tragedy, sadness and suspense of Dumbo’s story in the trailer — making it a must-see movie for the spring.

  1. “Aladdin” – May 24

The live-action retelling of the original 1992 classic “Aladdin” is brought back to the big screen. With the sandy dunes of Agrabah as the opening clip of the trailer, feelings of the original movie are thought off, especially since the music is the same as the original soundtrack.

The trailer teases the all-too-familiar scene of Jafar and Aladdin approaching the massive tiger head entrance to the Cave of Wonders, in addition to jazzed version of the Genie’s, [played by Will Smith] “Friend Like Me” number. Be sure to find a sidekick best friend like Aladdin’s Abu, and unroll your magic carpets this May to a “whole new world.”

  1. “Toy Story 4” – June 21

The teaser for “Toy Story 4” begins with the beloved Woody happily dancing around with a grin from ear-to-ear, holding hands with his best friend Buzz Lightyear. Along with Jessie, Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead, Rex, Ham, a green alien and Slink.

However, there is a new character in the bunch, one yet to see in the “Toy Story” franchise. Speculations of the film revolve around Bonnie and believe the movie to leave off where “Toy Story 3” ended. But fans will have to wait for his Summer premiere, in hopes that the movie lives up to its hype since 2014.

  1. “The Lion King” – July 29

Summer of 2019 will be bringing the pride lands to life in a way that you have never seen before. One of Disney’s staple movies, “The Lion King,” is getting a remake, one that truly shines in its brief teaser trailer.

Fans will see the familiar animated orange horizon begin the trailer, making it evident that there will be much creation trying to make the scenes feel as real as possible in this digitally animated movie. The cast also makes this movie a must-see, with Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé as Nala, Billy Eichner as Timon and Seth Rogan as Pumbaa.

  1. “Frozen 2” – November 22

As if the world was not tired with jokes about building snowmen, Disney has finally set a date for its release of the sequel to the record-breaking film “Frozen.” Unfortunately, there is no official trailer, but there is a teaser, with the plot still remaining unclear.

Despite the lack of information regarding “Frozen 2” with the exception of its release date, it is nearly certain that this sequel will be another box office hit for Disney audiences.
