All standings and stats are reflective of Saturday, Feb. 2.

After another week of Northeast Conference play, Robert Morris remains undefeated and continues to grow their lead for first place in the conference.

The Colonials remain in the middle of the pack in terms of their offense, but what sets them apart is their defensive focus and intensity.

They score 62.1 points per game but are allowing only 55.9 points. That margin of victory is good for best in the league at +6.1. The next closest margin of victory is +3.7.

Sacred Heart University is now tied for second in big part due to a three-game losing streak. The Pioneers are back home this week for two games. If they hope to catch Robert Morris for first place in the conference, they will need to take advantage of these games.

Saint Francis (BKN) is now also tied for second place in the conference after the Terriers picked up an overtime road victory against the Pioneers. A high powered offense has been key for the Terriers and it will continue to be a huge factor going forward into the year and possibly the playoffs, as they are currently averaging 74.5 points per game, which is good for first place in the conference for scoring.

The Saint Francis (PA) Red Flash are also currently tied with the Terriers and the Pioneers for second place. They are currently on a three-game winning streak, with the most recent victory coming on the road against conference opponent Mount St. Mary’s. The Red Flash have struggled for most of the year on the road, but they seem to overcome that issue recently and are catching fire at the right time.

They have scored over 83 in the past three games, including a 107-point night against Wagner. The Red Flash have the second highest scoring offense in the conference but is the last ranked defensive team in the conference; Scoring 72.4 PPG while allowing 79.1 PPG to opponents.

Mount St. Mary’s, Bryant and Wagner are all tied for fifth. All three teams have now dipped below .500 in conference play, and two having losing records overall, with the exception of Mount St. Mary’s, who sits at 10-10 overall.

The Mount has the third best offense in the conference, scoring just under 69 points per game.

The bottom of the conference is a fairly complicated mess at the moment, with three teams having a possibility of claiming the last spot of the tournament.

Fairleigh Dickinson and Central Connecticut are tied at the bottom of the standings while LIU Brooklyn is win-less, but still has a mathematical chance of staying in the hunt.

The Blue Devils are catching fire right now as they are on a two-game winning streak and just took down Bryant on a last second, game-winning three.

As the teams get deeper into conference play, the standings and contenders really begin to show up. Another week of games sits ahead as the conference tournament gets closer.
