According to BBC News and CNN, the group of about 500 were trying to cross the border “violently” and “illegally.” Now, Mexico is saying it will deport the migrants who attempted to cross the border.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection claimed the migrants threw projectiles, striking several agents, CNN said.

Syrian Chemical Attacks Spark Russian Air Strikes:
Chemical attacks in Syria have prompted Russian air strikes on the government-held city of Aleppo, BBC News reported.
Around 100 people, according to Syrian and Russian allies, have been injured by shells carrying toxic gas. According to the Observatory for Human Rights, the victims, which include children, are being treated for “breathing difficulties.”
Over the weekend, the Russian Defense Ministry said that its planes had carried out strikes on “the identified positions of terrorist artillery in the area that shelled civilians in the city of Aleppo.”
In the past, Western countries- including the U.S.- have accused the Syrian government of carrying out chemical attacks on its people.
This is the first major offense in northern Syria since Russia and Turkey created a “buffer zone” that divides government forces and rebels, BBC said.
