The CCSU chapter of the International Association of Business Communications will be holding a clothing drive on campus that will run from Monday Nov. 29 through Dec. 10.
The group is hoping to collect all kinds of new and used clothing for needy families.
There will be four drop-off locations across the CCSU campus, including the Sam May fitness center, Marcus White computer lab, the student center book store and inside the school of business dean’s office on the second floor of the Robert Vance Academic building.
The CCSU student chapter of IABC is working with the Salvation Army to conduct the clothing drive, who will take the clothes to their New Britain location.
The IABC is a student-run organization that provides students the opportunity for professional development and networking in the communications field.
“This is a great opportunity for our organization to give back to the community of New Britain and to help those in need,” said Kevin Leaver, president of the IABC student chapter at CCSU, in a press release.
