April 22 kicked off Central Activites Network’s annual “Spring Week” for students, with a week full of fun before the chaos of final exams. One of the most anticipated events every year is the “C.A.N. Carnival,” co-sponsored by Inter Residence Council (IRC).

Hosted on Vance Lawn and the Student Center Circle this past Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., students were able to enjoy games, bubble soccer and everyone’s favorite carnival food. From cotton candy to cupcakes, students were also able to win tickets by participating in different booths with various activities, offering prizes such as t-shirts, sunglasses and earbuds.

Thanks to the warm weather of spring, CCSU students were able to have fun under the sun between classes, gearing up for the annual Spring Concert the following night.

Until next year’s Spring Week, hoping for beautiful weather, yummy food and a great time with friends.
