The Student Government Association meets every Wednesday at 3:05 p.m. in Bellin A and B in Student Center. These briefs are from the SGA’s meeting on Jan. 30.

• Seven bystander trainings are planned throughout the semester, according to the Student Life Committee. One will be scheduled in February, four in March and two in April.
• The following items passed in a consent agenda:
  • A motion to allocate $4,272.78 to Central Cares to attend a Go Baby Go! conference.
  • A motion to allocate $1,632.24 to Central Marketing Association for their conference, excluding registration.
  • A motion to allocate $608.00 to the Chess Club for their chess membership in off-campus competitive matches and refreshments.
