What’s New, CCSU?

  • Central Authors will host its book lecture series on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 12:15 p.m. in the CCSU bookstore.
  • The Anthropology Club will be hosting a bake sale on Nov. 8 at 12:30 p.m. in the Student Center to help raise money for its trip to San Jose.
  • CCSU’s “Sexual Misconduct Task Force” will host a student focus group on Nov. 8 at 4:15 p.m. in the 1849 room of the Student Center. The second focus group will take place Friday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. in the Student Center’s Philbrick Room.
  • The Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity will host “Unity in the Community,” which depicts conversation about police interactions and peaceful protesting, on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Student Center.
  • The Fashion and Design Club will host its “VIBES Fashion Show” and feature a special dance performance and a performance by the Kappas. The free event will take place on Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Welte Auditorium.
  • “Devils Den @ 10 p.m.” will feature “History Club Trivia Night.”
  • The Black Student Union will host a “Durag Social” on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Constitution Room of Memorial Hall. The event will feature “small performances” and “allow its members and the greater community to express solidarity in the black culture.”
  • A Veterans Day Award Ceremony will take place on Monday, Nov. 12 in the Student Center’s Alumni Hall at 3 p.m.
