What’s New, CCSU?

- The “Michelle Obama – Sociology: From Me to You” event, which will “honor our First Lady’s Princeton degree in Sociology” and feature talks from different sociology professors, will take place on Wednesday, April. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. in Semesters. A free potato and sweet potato bar will be available.
- The Ebenezer D. Bassett Student Achievement Awards Ceremony is happening on April 17 at 6 p.m. in Founders Hall.
- The Fashion & Design Club will put on the CCSU Spring Fashion Show in Welte Auditorium on Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.
- A “Public Planetarium Show” will be held on Saturday, April 20 from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Nicolaus Copernicus Hall building.
- The Student Government Association Spring Candidate Gallery for Elections is on Monday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Center Circle.
- Central Activities Network will kick off Spring Week on April 22 at 6 p.m. in Alumni Hall.
- A “Movie Night” on Vance Lawn will take place on April 22 from 7 to 9 p.m.
- The Africana Center’s Annual Awards Ceremony will take place on April 22 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Connecticut Room of Memorial Hall.
- CCSU’s “Stand Up Day,” which aims to prevent sexual violence, is taking place on Tuesday, April 23 in the Student Center Circle from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The “Rachel” Art Gallery Show by Chase Westfall will continue to be open in the Chen Art Gallery of Maloney Hall.
