It’s that time of year again, when cravings for delicious treats and fun occur on spring and summer days and nights.
It’s at Farmington Miniature Golf and Ice Cream Parlor that people of all ages can get their fix of some yummy ice cream and a fun miniature golf course.
Farmington Miniature Golf and Ice Cream Parlor, located only seven miles away from CCSU, is great for students needing a break from the books or are merely craving a good time with delicious flavors of ice cream and lots of laughs from the golf course.
The ice cream parlor serves over 35 flavors of hard ice cream, yogurt, and soft serve with originals such as Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Vanilla, Chocolate, Coffee and Pistachio and new flavors like Kahlua Chocolate Chunk, Tye-Dye Vanilla, Cowabunga Crunch and Chocolate Cheese Cake Brownie. New flavors and rotational flavors throughout the year are brought to the menu every so often and around the seasons.
If you’re looking for healthy ways to enjoy the delicious ice cream, no sugar added and non-fat items are also an option on the menu. Cups, cones, sundaes, shakes, quarts and pints of hand-packed ice cream are also offered at Farmington Miniature Golf and Ice Cream Parlor along with hot dogs, nachos, homemade chili and many other types of beverages.
The ice cream is weighed, meaning the prices for each size will most likely change. For hard ice cream, a small starts at about $3.72 with a medium starting at about $4.90 and a large starting at about $6.00. On the other hand, soft ice cream comes out to be a little cheaper than hard ice cream with a small starting at about $3.12, medium starting at about $4.00, and a large starting at about $5.00. The option of cones are offered free of charge.
To play an 18-hole game of miniature golf, it costs $6.00 before 6 p.m. and $7.00 after 6 p.m. with a $3.00 fee for a repeat game before 6 p.m. during weekdays. Birthday parties, group events and special events such as an Easter egg hunt and a haunted miniature golf are offered as another way to have a great time at this local golf and ice cream joint.
A customer looking to engage in an activity that will cost below $20.00 can play two games of golf before 6 p.m., have a large hard ice cream cone and still have money left over for more ice cream.
Farmington Miniature Golf and Ice Cream Parlor is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week and during holidays.
