The Student Government Association meets every Wednesday at 3:05 p.m. in Bellin A and B in the Student Center. These briefs are from the SGA’s meeting on March 4.

• Fredy Rios of Lamba Alpha Upsilon fraternity requested a co-sponsorship for a fundraiser to help rebuild Puerto Rico in the wake of natural disasters.
• Motion to allocate $509.70 to Lamba Alpha Upsilon fraternity was approved.
• Dr. Jasek offered the senate some updates on Coronavirus (COVID-19). Regarding domestic travel: at this point the university has not restricted it.
• President Tahir updated the group on her “passion project” of making feminine hygiene products free to students in easily accessible locations around campus.
• Dr. Toro and the Vice President of Equity & Inclusion Rusty Barcelo will be coming to Senate on Wednesday, March 25th.
